Here's info from '10 DVD (legal stuff at beginning said it's okay to print, so figure it's okay to reference here): Should erase all current settings of HomeLink first by pressing and holding the two outside buttons for up to 20 seconds until the red indicator flashes. Make sure your van is parked outside the garage door. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position. With the battery side of the handheld transmitter held away from the HomeLink® button you wish to program, place your handheld transmitter 1 to 3 in (3 to 8 cm) from that HomeLink® button while keeping the indicator light in view.
Jul 30, 2018 - Can be programmed to work with more than one Security+ 2.0® garage door opener. Kit contains a repeater and a 'learning' remote control.
Simultaneously press and hold both your chosen HomeLink® button and the handheld transmitter button until the HomeLink® indicator changes from a slow to a rapidly blinking light, then release both the HomeLink® and handheld transmitter buttons. Watch for the HomeLink® indicator to change flash rates. When it changes, it is programmed. It may take up to 30 seconds or longer in rare cases. The garage door may open and close while you train. Press and hold the just-trained HomeLink® button and observe the indicator light. If the indicator light stays on constantly, programming is complete and the garage door (or device) should activate when the HomeLink® button is pressed.
If the indicator light blinks rapidly for two seconds and then turns to a constant light, then you have a Rolling Code System, so more steps. To program a Rolling Code System: - At the garage door opener motor (in the garage), find the “Learn” or “Training” button. This can usually be found where the hanging antenna wire is attached to the garage door opener motor. The name and color of the button may vary by manufacturer. It is NOT the button normally used to open and close the door.

Firmly press and release the LEARN or TRAINING button. Note: You have 30 seconds in which to initiate the next step after the LEARN button has been pressed. Return to the vehicle and press the programmed HomeLink® button twice (holding the button for two seconds each time). If the device is plugged in and activates, programming is complete. If the device does not activate, press the button a third time (for two seconds) to complete the training.
Like cbwilsha said above, you can call toll-free 1–800–355–3515 if you need help or, on the Internet go to, If you want to program one or both of the remaining two HomeLink® buttons, repeat each step for each remaining button, except of course for the 'erase the channels' step. Don't want to wipe out what you just programmed! My T&C did not come with a factory owners manual. If its like any of my other jeeps I guess Id just hit the 1 and 3 buttons till it flashes then hold the button to program with the garage door opener at the same time?
The owner's manual (for all vehicles model year 2004 and later) is available online as an adobe acrobat pdf, for free, at chrysler.com. Click on 'for owners' and look for 'owner's and service manuals.' You don't even have to be an owner-they don't ask for a VIN or any other identifying information.
